My experience at Silverstrands was delightful. The breakfast options were a standout, featuring a delicious variety of fresh cooked offerings. I particularly loved the full Scottish breakfast, which was hearty and satisfying. The cleanliness throughout the guest house impressed me greatly. everything felt immaculate. Kenny, the host, was incredibly accommodating, providing a parking permit and even helpful suggestions on where to eat and things to do in Inverness. However, the bathroom was a bit awkward in terms of access, as it was located down the corridor. This arrangement felt slightly inconvenient, especially during the night. Despite this, the comfort of the bed made up for it, leading to great sleep. The location was peaceful yet close enough to walk to the city center, so it struck a nice balance.

The host Kenny was incredibly welcoming and accommodating.
I was frustrated when I had to change rooms unexpectedly during my two-night stay, and the second room felt notably smaller than the first. Additionally, the path to the bathroom involved walking past the dining area, which was awkward and uncomfortable. I expected greater privacy in the arrangement, but this made my stay rather inconvenient, especially at night.

Waking up to a hearty Scottish breakfast was a highlight for our family. Kenny was an incredible host, giving us the best tips to explore Inverness with our teenage kids. The location was super convenient. we could easily walk to the town center without needing the car.
In my wife’s opinion, more family activities would be great.

Breakfast was a standout, featuring a variety of freshly prepared options that left me looking forward to each morning. The charming atmosphere and close proximity to the town made it convenient for exploring Inverness. However, I did wish for slightly later checkout options.

Had an amazing stay with a cozy room and the best Scottish breakfast served by a friendly host in a kilt! Enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden, complete with a seating area and beautiful plants to unwind. The only minor downside was that my bathroom wasn't attached to my room, but it didn't bother me at all. Definitely recommend trying the haggis at breakfast! 😊
